Sampratyaya is serious about protection of author’s copyright which includes copyrightof contributor(s) of material submitted for publication and other authors(s) source cited or third party material used in the material. Therefore, the author(s) is/are required to submit necessary permission from copyright holders for reproducing any illustrations, tables, figures or lengthy quotations previously published elsewhere and anything that comes under copyright provision.Copyright rule also applies to the use of material of the author published in Sampratyaya by someone else in his/her work.
The author retains copyright in the material, but grants Sampratyaya the sole and exclusive right to publish and republish it in academic interest. The author(s) can use/share the material of their published article in academic interest. However, the article cannot be republished without prior permission of Sampratyaya.
A previously published material is not accepted for publication. However, under exceptional circumstance the author shall submit a previously published article with prior permissions from concerned copyright holders–co-authors, previous publishing institution, etc.
The signed declaration by the corresponding author is considered as author’s/authors’ sign as right holder(s) in the material submitted for publications in Sampratyaya, and as the Agreement between the author(s) and the publishers of the journal.
If the article submitted is found violating copyright norms in any form is out rightly rejected. False declaration is viewed seriously and reported to the higher ups of the author. Insufficient acknowledgment to quotes (direct, summarised or paraphrased), thoughts, information or idea from other sources is also viewed seriously and any lapse is considered plagiarism.
